| An agentic creative canvas that brings image, video, vector, 3D and audio tools onto one shared board. The creative agent can be called from anywhere on the board, and tools like Variations and Antagonist push a piece in eight directions or argue back against one assumption in it. Access opens in monthly rounds, so the waitlist is the way in. |

| UX COLLECTIVE 📖 ARTICLE Taste is not a design methodology Patrick Neeman argues that taste is a preference nobody can test, and that a design call needs a fact behind it. Fitts’s law, Hick’s law, heuristics and research with real users make a decision checkable; everything else is opinion. |
| ANTON STEN 📖 ARTICLE Anton Sten keeps discussion, meeting notes, running notes and a dated decisions log in separate places, newest decision on top. A searchable mess is still a mess, for the team and for the AI agents reading along. |
| DESIGNER FUND 📖 ARTICLE Inside Anthropic’s design team Designer Fund visited Anthropic, where engineering now moves about ten times faster and design three to five times, so the open question is whether something should be built at all. Every designer ships code in their first week, and critiques happen up to four times a week. |

| A NOTE FROM PASCAL TOOOLS.design 2.0 is live, with a search that understands what you ask |
|
TOOOLS.design started in 2019 as a Webflow site. Since this week it runs on a stack I built myself with Claude: a refreshed design, my own database behind it, and pages that load noticeably faster. The big change is search. A quick search (⌘K) that understands a typed question, a Tool Finder with proper filters, a Tool Consultant in beta that answers things like “what should I use instead of Figma?”, and an MCP server to plug the whole catalog of 2,400+ tools into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. Have a look around at toools.design and tell me what you think. Just reply to this email. Or use the new feedback form. This Saturday, October 24, 2.0 goes up on Product Hunt. Come join the discussion there, ask questions, tell me what you would want next. It would mean a lot. Pascal |
